[Woodcarver] Secret Pal carvings received

Good Afternoon All -

Finally got to the Post Office today to find a box waiting for me that came from Mike Delke, way up in Gladstone, MI.  For those of you that don't know, Gladstone is in the UP on Little Bay de Noc, just a bit north of Escanaba, of "Escanaba In Da' Moonlight" fame.


Inside the box were two carvings -  a "Feel Good Bird" carved from Holly, and a bird feather carved in basswood, pyro'ed and painted.  The bird is great -  It will join some of my W3E carvings in my office.  The bird feather, I'm afraid, has already been claimed by the lovely Catherine. 

A big thinks to Mike Delke for a coupe of great carvings.
