Hello Joe
You're right about November being too early to start with the Christmas
carols. On the workbench front, I've just had a small commission for the
local church. The minister is leaving and I've been asked to carve a
pair of hands with a dove as a gift from the congregation. Not
especially Christmassy but it keeps the wolf from the door. I'm off to
demonstrate at Brodie's Timber < www.brodiestimber.co.uk > on the 1st of
December and I'll be taking my Santa Clause, the one that didn't win the
Woodcarving Illustrated competition, for company. No, I'm not bitter: I
was beaten by a worthy winner - several worthy winners in fact.
