Hi Sandie,
It wasn't a guess. I know Ol' Don keeps ahead of the game with his patterns and articles so his summer is free for beer drinking (and camping). I'm hoping to squeeze a little beer drinking with Ol' Don when we head south in March. Hoping to pass near you for a visit.
A GOW reunion sounds like fun. We need to talk about it off line.
In buying a Christmas present for Ol' Don, don't wait for Big Dog's new catalog, order from the one he just mailed out a few months ago.

I'm thinking that Ol' Don's working on getting another year's worth of patterns and articles finished to open up time for the Sandie and Ol' Don travels.
How on earth did you guess that? Don usually gets the Chip Chats patterns done before Dayton. Thanks to the shingles pain, that didn't happen. But he finished the last of them this afternoon. Now he's going to work on the ones for WOM. Don finished his 3 commissioned caricatures just before Dayton and mailed them off to a happy recipient. Then he finished carvings of his grandson and his new bride and sent them off with family just before Thanksgiving.
I've been working on the ornaments for my grandkids. Tried something ambitious last spring. Gave up and went for an easy Santa this fall. Will try the more ambitious ones for next year.
We've been putting the RV away for the winter. Always a sad time when we do that. Have started thinking about next year's travel schedule but have not put anything in stone yet. Got more trips thought of than there are weeks in the summer.
Been thinking about talking to Joe and Bob about a GOW reunion. A reunion with no classes, no instructors, no organization - just set a meeting place and time and see what happens. Thought about a large campground somewhere in the vicinity of northern Illinois that would have a pavillion and let everyone make their own reservations. Maybe York???
Any thoughts out there???????
Sandie
