[Woodcarver] Secret Pal "Thanks"

[Ol' Don]

Hey, "Woodbutcher Jan", friend from the North,
A parcel from you has just come forth.
It contained a couple pieces of wood
Expertly shaped and looking good.

The chip carved hand holding a cross
Reminds us of a precious loss
But He rose again, forever alive
And believers in Him will surely survive.

The other, a relief, of an Indian brave
Mounted on an arrowheadready to save.
Though it's painted wood it looks like stone.
Two fine looking carvings I now own.

They've become a part of our collection
And for this gift, I now must mention
My thanks to Jan for carvings well done
And thanks to Matt. These exchanges are fun!
