[Woodcarver] Carving on hold

Have not been able to carve for a while now, have trigger finger in my left hand.  It is like carpal tunnel but only affects the 2 outside fingers.  Getting cortisone shots, should be last one end of next week and hope to be back to carving in Oct. 

Has anyone else had this condition and what was the outcome?
