Looking for something to do this weekend???
Come join us at the Winter Wood Wonders show this weekend in St. Charles,
IL. The show is Sat and Sun from 10 to 4 both days.
It is being held at the Kane County Fairgrounds located at the intersection
of Randall Road and Hwy. 38. After you enter the fairground off of Randall
Road, take the first left and head for the huge, new-looking, tan building.
The show is being held at the south end of the building.
Besides woodcarving, this show includes artists who turn wood, build
furniture, burn wood and, finally, make beautiful multi-colored pictures
with natural woods: an artform referred to as Intarsia.
The neatest thing about the show is the fact that all profits, after
expenses, are donated to the Wounded Warriors from Hines Hospital.
Take some time out and support our veterans while having the opportunity to
see some great artwork and visit with some really great artists.
Oh BTW, we'll have our "stuff" there for your viewing and buying pleasure!
Hope to see you there.
