[Woodcarver] Instruction/Tools/Suggestions requested

Hello Rick,

I started a year ago and purchased a "starter set' of Flex cut.  Never liked
the way they fit my hand, so they have been in a drawer since.   Would be
pleased as punch to pass them forward.

I knew it was a long shot, but I was hoping to get at least a couple of
knives for them...and if there are extras, I have at least one more person
that wanted to try a hand at carving, too...and any extra stuff I get, I
will just "pay it forward" as I am able.

Thank you all again!!!! Hmmm...maybe I should do a church project with wood
carving??? Now I am starting to get a bit ambitious.  :-)

Hello all...I have a couple questions, as well as a plea...

There are 2 sisters (freshman in college and a senior in high school)
from our church that had approached me to teach them to carve. While I
am still a beginning carver myself and still exploring the joys of
carving (and making MANY mistakes along the way), I agreed to show them
a few things.
  but art is new to me...any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
