So sorry to hear this. Lynn was a gentleman and an excellent carver. I
hadn't heard from Lynn in a while and lost his contact info. In a 'puter
crash. 

Years ago Pastor Paul and I enjoyed talking to Lynn on a regular basis. Rest
in peace Lynn. Miss ya already.

The carving community lost one of their own this morning.  My friend and
fellow woodcarving artist, Lynn Diel, the author of "Flat Plane Carving the
Nativity," passed away this morning after a long bout with cancer.  For
those of us that knew Lynn personally, we will certainly miss him.  Lynn and
I had carved away many a day at Silver Dollar City and had taken several
classes together.  Please keep Lynn and Lynn's family in your prayers.  I
know that, without a doubt, God will welcome Lynn into his family.
