[Woodcarver] W3E Thanks

[Ol' Don]

One chip at a time with a slice here and there
Then out of the wood came the shape hidden there.
A face so well known, it was easy to see
What carver Rick den had in mind for me.
It was Santa Claus, a great looking bust
With a detailed face and you know that I just
Had to admire the skill evident
Which showed that this piece was no accident.
The finish was natural, with some color and that
Was to accent the eyes and the hair and his hat.
It's a great addition to our Santa collection
So thank you Rick den and of course I should mention,
Hey Matt, thank you too for all that you do
To bring carvers together for an exchange or two.
