Great way of lining a box Marty Thanks
MY problem is my boxes are mostly free hand design and I want the sides done as well
By free hand I mean I take a block of (walnut ) mostly and draw a design as the pencil will go
2-3 “ deep and I router the inside and put a swinging lid on it with usually large flower and leafs freehand again
I know I KNOW its some time a pain in the butt ( To say it mildly) But my G kids love them

Hello Jan,
I made a video showing how I line the bottom of boxes. It’s quick and easy with nice results. Just lined one this morning.
