Hi Pat,
I hope you and Gene are doing well. You must have seen some snow and cold
this winter, and it's just began. It's been a winter of extremes so far.
Are you still carving and woodburning? I picture you keeping warm by burning
your wood chips.
I worked the night shift at a Red Cross shelter last night, resulting from a
big apartment complex fire, and getting ready to head back for another night
shift. Sure would like to teach some carving to the clients but handing out
sharp knives isn't recommended, nor the dust from power carving. Sometimes I
get to do some drawing with the kids but we had a mess last night which left
no time for drawing or even a cup of coffee. With the thaw and rain today,
on top of all this snow, I expect to have more shelters open resulting from
flooding.
