[Ol' Don]

 From across the country, through weather bad
This fellow came and made me glad.
A trip from Seattle (Shoreline really)
To Tennessee, brought him to me

 From carver Hal Allen in Washington state.
My collection he now will infiltrate.
The carving's small and looking fine
And a grandfather type, he brings to mind.

So on the shelf he now must go
To join other miniatures all in a row.
Yes, we have others and he fits right in
With his casual look and sheepish grin

Hal, I thank you, for this fine addition
Your carving is now on exhibition.
And thanks to Matt who made it work
Overseeing the exchange, this carver's perk.
