Fellow carvers. 

 

Sharon and I are back from vacation and spring is in the air. Besides all
the fun activates I managed to get some sketching done. I upgraded to a
little larger sketchbook from the usual 5.5 X 8.5 inch to 7 X 10 inch.
Getting one sketch done per day took a little more time. The days that I
didn't sketch I worked on the design for my next church statue. The only
carving I got done was sharpening my HB and 2B pencil. Still we managed to
swim every day, get sunburned and do a lot of walking. Sharon lost 5 lbs and
I had enough beer to say the same.
