Hello carving friends,
We are reaching out to our woodcarving family to see if you can help one of
the oldest woodcarving events held in the USA. The Affiliated Wood Carvers
are the sponsors of the International Woodcarvers Congress. June of 2016
marks the 50th anniversary of the Congress. This year's show ended up in a
deficit in our checking account. That is the first that has happened since
we've been involved for the past 25+ years.
We are asking woodcarvers everywhere to help out financially in order for us
to put on a show and competition worthy of a 50th anniversary. Whether it's
$1.00 or $100.00 or anything in between, your help would be greatly
appreciated. You can send a check or MO to AWC, PO Box 104, Bettendorf, IA
52722. AWC is not prepared to take credit cards, but if you would rather use
one, go to The Woodcraft Shop's website: www.thewoodcraftshop.com and you
can make a donation in a safe and secure manner. Just click on the A W C
DONATIONS button at the top of the left hand column. There you will find
various amounts that can be used as is or added together to equal the amount
you wish to donate.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that any
donation to AWC is tax deductible. If you're unfamiliar with AWC or the
Congress, go to our website: www.awcltd.org for information about our
organization. Thank you very much for your time.
