Hey Jersey Tom,

Yes, that do!  But I didn't want to be too presumptuous.  :o)

Yes ... this subject has been brought up many times before because a
lot of us struggle with the same problems.

It has been suggested in the past, and I'm in full agreement, that the
best tutorial on sharpening is Ev Ellenwood's DVD called "Sharpening
Simplified".  I have yet to have anyone who studied the DVD ever tell
me they didn't achieve sharp tools.

It can be gotten directly from Ev at: <A class=moz-txt-link-abbreviated href="http://www.ellenwoodarts.com">www.ellenwoodarts.com</A> or from
any reputable woodcarving supply house.

Good luck with your future sharpening endeavors!

I have tried and tried to hone tools and knives, with stones and
grinders. I can't get it right! Sure you heard this question before,
but I just plain can't get the hang of it! Frustrated in jersey.
