The seminar will be held at Pavilion 22 of the Lancaster County Parks, south of Lancaster City.</p><p>One can register to spend the two days with one of the four carvers: Pete LeClair, Jan Oegema, Bob Stadtlander, or Don Dearolf.</p></font><p><font face="Arial">Pete, author of three books,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Carving Caricature Heads & Faces, Carving Caricature Figures from Scratch and Carving Caricature Busts</i>, is a retired Operating Engineer, living in Gardner, Massachusetts. He began carving caricatures in 1973. In 1978 he started teaching carving in the adult education system in the city of Fitchburg, MA. He is mostly self taught, but has taken several courses offered by other well known carvers. He specializes in relief carving, mostly in wood 2" thick or less. Robert’s fascination for woodcarving started at a very young age, however after being influenced by his family’s participation in the woodcarving world, he started carving as a hobby.
