<DIV>Actually I have carved several pine type trees lately for a miniature
carving seane I working on. I took a 1/2? inch dowel and used by table
disk sander to tapper it from about the 2 1/4" inch mark and then mixed the
paint color I wanted with snow tex and they came out pretty good. I also
turned a 4x4 on the lathe and did the same paint job and it looks pretty good
also.</DIV>

carving tools and knives, then carve away everything that does not look like a
