I suggest cedar.&nbsp; I have made some very nice walking sticks from cedar
branches.&nbsp; It carves well, and is light and strong.<br>

I am looking for suggestions for a good wood to use for some carved
walking sticks. Light weight would be good, but I'm looking for
something that would be strong enough for a couple of Scouts to carry a
bucket of water with.<br>
