has made my carving life a whole lot easier. I had a terrible time
sharpening my tools before, but now I don't have that problem. It IS time
consuming, but my carving is so much better when my knives are as sharp as they
can be. I was so impressed with it, I ordered a copy for our club library
and even the long-time carvers were impressed and learned a few
things.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

like the wood grain and the carving marks to be visiible. Or, like so of
the others, I use no stain or color at all, and just use a sealer at the
end. (I sound like I've completed lots of pieces and believe me, I wish
that were true, but I'm still quite amateur and have only done a very

if I can, I prefer water based finishes due to the low odor and easy clean
up.<BR><BR>As for sharpening, I like the methods that are best presented by
