Well I finally got it all done. Both figures painted and mounted, base
made and painted etc. All carved from basswood. The figures are 6 1/2
and 7 inches tall, 2-2.5 inches wide. All painted with acrylics and
sealed with satin lacquer. I learned a lot doing this I can tell you
that and I am ready to move onto something else ! Thanks for everyone's
suggestions and thoughts on previous postings. Hope you like it. I will be
taking this to our club show in Omaha at the end of the month. I am
pretty happy with the way it turned out. Your thoughts and comments
