This list is designed to further communication and collaboration in bridging the digital divide using TUI technology. The electronic book is an open source, customizable, low-cost, student-centered, teacher-designed, remote controlled electronic textbook that delivers academic content in both paper-based and digital forms. It also delivers services such as BookTracker, assessment, and enables evaluation data collection. This model bridges the digital divide by bringing digital content to those students who ordinarily are unconnected due to socioeconomics or impairments. Using Bridging_the_divide
To post a message to all the list members, send email to bridging_the_divide@touchsmart.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Bridging_the_divide
Subscribe to Bridging_the_divide by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
