Possible MT+Trackback issue

Today I got a trackback from a MoveableType blog.  The article was 
apparantly written using markdown.  The excerpt text sent in the 
trackback has Markdown syntax in it.  I don't know how MT extracts the 
excerpt, and I don't have an MT blog so I can't do any testing to see 
if this is a problem everywhere or just a problem for the blog in 
question.  Also, I couldn't find an email address to contact the author 
of the other blog.
