Ordered list syntax.

And, as I pointed out earlier today, it just isn't practical because
it only works in Opera.

So the question really is:

1.  (X)HTML Strict
2.  (X)HTML Transitional

where the *only* Transitional elements I'm even considering are the
`start` and `type` tag attributes.

#2 is tempting, but I'm leaning strongly towards #1.
