Paragraphs and Line Breaks

To simply add a <br /> the syntax is "space-space-return" to make
paragraph tags it's "return-return".

I must be misreading what you want to accomplish. I thought you wanted a
<br /> between lines not a <p>...</p>

Perhaps an example?
