Paragraphs and Line Breaks

Sorry. When I'm doing Regex my ability to speak any other language
disappears.

I'm basically trying to convert a load of plain text to Markdown and
this means changing each single line break to space-space-return.

I can't see why John chose space-space-return in the first place.

I've changed my copy of markdown and it's working beautifully.
I don't image John would have made it space-space-return without a good
reason though.
