Easily Installing & Using Markdown with Movable Type

Would it be possible to host a Movable Type "package" for Markdown.
Until I tried to install the 3.2 beta, I never realized how incredibly
hard it is to get Markdown installed since both the php and perl
versions need to be installed to use markdown on dynamic publishing.
