No Markdown in <div>s or <table>s ?

That should go in a <pre><code>, and indeed <pre> blocks should be
holy and untouched, for they can contain random stuff from whatever
programming language that would confuse Markdown.

Completely agree with that. <div>s don't mean anything. Why should
they mean something to Markdown?
