Hey all,

Just a quick addition to Marks post from yesterday. I guided Eisenhower Tower yesterday as well but came up to the hut via the fire lookout the night before.

The approach gully through the first tier to the hut was pretty much dry except for a few small patches of snow to cross near the top. Plenty of snow as you traverse across to the hut and seemed easier to melt snow out side the hut instead of going back and forth to the gully for water. Lots of running water in the gully as well. The descent gully off Bass and Brewers is full of snow and ice ax and crampons would be good to have if the snow in there was still holding a freeze for your descent.

Crossing from the hut to Eisenhower over the plateau was nice to have the ice ax (no need for crampons) as you're still crossing a fair bit of snow.

Have fun out there!
