[MCR] Field - Carlsberg Column

[Public Mountain Conditions Report]

We climbed Carlsberg Column today and it's in good shape. The ice was brittle, but overall the protection was good, and there was a lot of stuff to stand on.

An honest pitch of grade 5 ice today.

There were 5 parties vying for Guiness Gully today - better get up early is you want to climb that one on the weekend.
