Pleasing Innovation

    An innovation which shows that the local Norfolk and Western trainmaster's office knows what the public likes was inaugurated at the Bluefield station last night when a man was seen to meet train No. 3 with a small cart filled with clean cuspidors.  He made a trip through the train and replaced the receptacles which had become dirty with freshly washed ones and several passengers were overheard making very favorable remarks.

[Don't know why a trainmaster would have responsibility for cuspidors.]
