STEEL FOR NEW BRIDGE AT KENOVA
------
Iron Trade Review Says That Structural Iron Has Been Ordered
There seems no longer any doubt but that the Norfolk and Western intends putting in an independent bridge over the Ohio at Kenova or the reconstruction of the present bridge to accommodate double-trackage.
The authority for this statement is a statement in the issue of the Iron Trade Review of yesterday that the American Bridge Company had been awarded the contracts for 12,000 tons of structural iron for this specific purpose.
The booking of this order would seem to indicate the intention of the Norfolk and Western to prosecute the work of construction on the bridge during the coming summer.
The same article is which the bridge contract is mentioned, also states that the Chesapeake & Ohio has awarded the contract for 15,000* tons of steel rails.--Huntington Herald-Dispatch.
