NEW PULLMAN SCHEDULE
------
New York Crews to Displace Well-Known Conductors on Gary Run
It begins to look as though the people who have been riding on the Philadelphia-Gary Pullman until they have gotten to know the Pullman conductors so well that the car would look empty without them will have to bid them good bye. According to the new rules and schedule the men will be changed or else their run made such that they will not visit this section after June 4, when [a new (?)] Pullman schedule will go into effect.
According to the new schedule train No. 2 will leave this city at 2:40 p. m., Roanoke at 6:40 p.m. and arrive in the north Philadelphia station, via Harrisburg, at 7:30 a.m., arriving at the new station in New York at 8:57 a.m. attached to train No. 40.
Returning the car will leave on train No. 9 out of New York terminal city station at 6:04 p.m., arriving at the Broad Street station, Philadelphia, at 8:28 p.m., leaving twelve minutes later, making Harrisburg at 11:13 p.m. and arriving in this city attached to No. 1 about the same time [as at present(?)]. New York crews will operate the cars, according to information at hand now. This will of course mean that the well known conductors, Jack Sentman, who has been on the run nine years; Captain Spinney, Jack McKee and Albert Mawshaw, will move back to Philadelphia and get over their liking for the mountains they have been looking at two or three times a week for years.
Dining cars will be run on trains Nos. 13 and 14 between Roanoke and Hagerstown, according to the new schedule.
