Farmville & Powhatan Railroad

I just learned of the Farmville & Powhatan Railroad and thought I'd 
share it with the list.

It was a 3-ft narrow gauge line that ran from Farmville, VA to a spot 
near the confluence of the Appomattox and James Rivers called Bermuda Hundred.

In later years it was known as the Tidewater & Western Railroad.

Does anyone have additional information about this line?
