If you can locate a copy of Virginia Cavalcade magazine for the winter of
1967, there is an interesting article "Narrow Gauge to Farmville" about the
F&P and T&W RRs. Also, if you send me [ railrdn at verizon.net ] an email with
your address for a follow up about the line.

Subject: Farmville & Powhatan Railroad
I just learned of the Farmville & Powhatan Railroad and thought I'd
share it with the list.
It was a 3-ft narrow gauge line that ran from Farmville, VA to a spot
near the confluence of the Appomattox and James Rivers called Bermuda
Hundred.
In later years it was known as the Tidewater & Western Railroad.
Does anyone have additional information about this line?
