West Bound on former Virginian

At 11:45 this morning a hopper train composed entirely of CSX hopper was by Ellett westbound.  It had 6-7  engines.

About 15 minutes was another westbound of mixed freight.  It had two engines and about 40 cars.

It is always fun to hear westbound movements on the Virginian climbing the grade to the eastern continental divide which is about four  miles west of Ellett and  just east of Merrimac.
