Michael:
I have seen a photo of Virginian crane B-8 at a derailment (probably late
40's). I recorded the service car as 90369. Only about half of the flat car
is visible - no tanks showing. In the TLC equipment book it is listed as an
F-3X. The equipment book also says that it was, at one time, assigned to
B-4 for rail and trucks. The tender may have been disconnected at the wreck
site for better equipment access.
