Signal Question and rule term

Something else to note is, in this day and time. The railroad companies
seem to be trying to standardize turnout speeds along particular routes.
I know out here on BNSF we get Diverging Clear for out crossovers. BUT
you will get either an Approach Medium in advance of a 25MPH crossover.
or in advance of a 50 MPH Crossover we will get an Advance Approach.
(Yeah I know we are a little screwy) if it is a 60 MPH crossover we will
get an Approach Limited in advance of it. Something else I will mention
that was quite comical if you ask me, is how the Old Heads used to
remember the 40 MPH turnouts vs the 25 MPH Turnouts on the 240 mile run
from Alliance to Ravenna. LSD is how they remembered it, and NO I do not
mean the drug. LSD stood for Lakeside, Seneca, and Dunning.
