When I visited Blake in mid 2012, the road pretty much ended as shown on
the quoted maps.  It does turn to gravel and then into not more than what I
would call a “trail.”  Here are a couple of picture from Blake shaken with
a Nikon D90 and a 80 -400mm lens:
