NS To Close Down Roanoke

Coal will continue to fall in demand unless ways can be found to
mitigate ALL of its negative effects. NS is feeling that now, and would
be foolish to not play the cards dealt to it. I certainly do not
subscribe to "everything for the shareholder" mantra (NS is part of our
society and must consider its role) it would be negligent for NS to
ignore the current climate.
