1. WOMEN'S COFFEE HOUSE - December 7
For the month of December, the Pride Center's Women's Coffee House
presents a special night of entertainment, fun and refreshments!  The
special guest entertainer will be Stephanie-Phyllis Monticciolo who has
performed at many area venues including the Court Tavern and Tumulty's
Pub.  Come meet new friends and enjoy the music!  At The Pride Center of
NJ, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, December 7th. Donation: $5.00

2. AALU - TOY & CLOTHING DRIVE
There will not be a November meeting of AALU due to the Thanksgiving
holiday. However, please help with the Toy and Clothing Drive - Ongoing,
throughout the month Women's shelters are always in need; especially
this time of year. AALU along with Helping Hands and The Pride Center is
proud to sponsor its annual Toy and Clothing Drive. Please bring in
unwrapped toys or clothing items to The Pride Center by December 20, so
that it can be donated to a local Women's Shelter. Your generosity and
support is greatly appreciated. For further information please speak to
any Pride Center volunteer or Call 732 679 - 7687.

3. MARRIAGE EQUALITY NEW JERSEY
Marriage Equality New Jersey, a recently formed non-profit organization,
seeks volunteers and motivated individuals to help plan and participate
in our New Jersey Marriage Expo Project and other activities.  This
project entails going to various malls throughout New Jersey and
educating people about same-sex marriage rights and how they can get
involved in this important struggle for civil rights.  Please send all

4. GALY-NJ COFFEEHOUSE
Gay and Lesbian Youth in New Jersey and The Pride Center of NJ present a
first Coffeehouse Meeting on Saturday, December 7 from 2 PM to 5 PM at
The Pride Center, 1048 Livingston Avenue, North Brunswick.  Bring your
poems, songs and other writings to read and talk about with the group.
Talk about your favorite book, movie or even a video game. Show and tell
us about your favorite 'whatever' or start an open discussion topic.
Relax and listen to your favorite CD (you bring it). There will be
desserts to go with the coffee.  See you there, and invite some friends.
As with all GALY meetings, you must be between the ages of 16 and 21 to
attend. However, if you are 14 or 15 and come with a parent (just to
sign a form), then you are welcome too! For directions and more info,

5. PRAYER BREAKFAST
Unity Fellowship Church of New Brunswick will hold a pre holiday Prayer
Breakfast on Saturday, December 14 at the Bayard Street Presbyterian
Church on Bayard and Joyce Kilmer in New Brunswick from 9 AM to 11 AM.
Donation: $7. Guest Speaker: Deacon Ron Potochar. For ticket

6. LARAMIE PROJECT AT RUTGERS
Rutgers Theater Company presents THE LARAMIE PROJECT by Moises Kaufman.
A chronicle of the life of the town of Laramie in the year following the
tragic murder of Matthew Shepard. 
Dates: November 27 through December 7, 2002, in Levin Theater.
Friday Nov. 29th is Pride Night!
The second week of performance is almost sold out, contact the box

7. NJ GAY MEN'S CHORUS
The New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus, one of the state's most significant
choral groups, presents a concert of holiday and festive music titled
"Winter Prelude" on Friday, December 6th, 2002, at 8:00 PM in the
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road,
Princeton, New Jersey, and on Saturday, December 7th, 2002, at 8:00 PM
in Christ Church, 5 Patterson Street, New Brunswick Tickets are $15
general admission, $12 for seniors and students, and can be purchased by
calling the chorus at 609-396-7774, or at the door.
