Established in 1982, the Leather Pride Night (LPN) Committee raises funds through auctions to donate to local and national organizations that support the Leather Community.  For the first time in Leather Pride Night’s history, an organization from New Jersey, namely the Pride Center of New Jersey (PCNJ), has been selected as one of four beneficiaries to receive proceeds generated from this year’s Annual Leather Pride Night Auction.

The 20th Annual leather Pride Night Auction will take place on Saturday, June 14th, 2003, at The Puck Building, 293 Lafayette Street (@Houston Street).  Doors open at 8PM.  Auction and festivities continue until 12AM.  Tickets cost $15 in advance, and $20 at the door.

Mr. Ross DeRose, who holds the prestigious title “Mr. NJ Leather 2003”, in his role as representative from Promethean guard, nominated PCNJ as the beneficiary and helped make the selection possible.  Dedicated to improving the image and understanding of the Leather Community, Ross encourages diversity and works to bridge the gap between the LGBTI and Leather Communities.
