1. MEN'S SOCIAL / GAMES NIGHT - Aug 25
The Pride Center of New Jersey Presents... 
Games Night 
Saturday, August 25th
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
We'll have a variety of games on hand, and feel free
to bring your own. A $6.00 donation includes drinks
and munchies. See you there! 

2. PARENTING WORKSHOP - Sept 19
A workshop on parenting for GLBT couples and
individuals is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19
at the Pride Center of New Jersey.  For full details,
please go to the Center website at
www.pridecenter.org.  
 
In advance of this event, the contact for the agency
running the program informed the Center that a
reporter from The Press of Atlantic City wants to do a
story about the parenting program on 9/19. He is from
the Press of Atlantic City (the biggest newspaper in
South Jersey). He would like to speak with a couple
(men or women) who have gone through the process of
having a child. He wants to localize the story so he
would like a couple from South Jersey. Do you know of
any couples in that area that might be able to speak
with him? He says he can guarantee anonymity if that
is an issue. 
 
He wants to run the article before the program to help
get people to attend. So if you know of anyone I can
contact to help find a couple down in the AC area,
that would be great!

3. SIXTH ANNUAL PICNIC - Sept 29
The Pride Center of NJ's 6th Annual Picnic takes place
on Saturday, September 29th, 2007 from noon to 6 PM at
Veteran's Park, Roosevelt Avenue in North Brunswick,
NJ.
Cost: $15 members, $22 non members.

6-12 year olds only $12

Details: BBQ includes hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage
and peppers, salads and dessert table, soft drings and
water. Games for everyone!

Details

Minimum of $150 in donations gets you 2 games of
bowling, shoes, soda 
and lunch at Fiddlehead’s restaurant (at 2:00pm, prior
to bowling that day).

Didn’t get the minimum?  No matter what level of
donations you collect, you can join us for lunch and
pay just $15.00 per person or bowling for $15.00 per
person, or both for $30.00 per person.
