The Pride Center of New Jersey will
be marching again in the NYC Pride Parade on Sunday, June 27th! 

 

If you would like more information
or to get on the email list of potential marchers, please contact Jennifer

2. Relay
for Life

 

 RELAY
FOR LIFE IN AC

    The nation's first GLBT Relay For Life to support
the American Cancer Society takes place in Atlantic City in June. 
The relay is a GLBT family-oriented event where participants can walk or run on
a track, relay style, for 14 hours from 6 p.m. Friday, June 25,
until 8 a.m. Saturday, June 26 at the Oscar McClinton
Waterfront Park in Atlantic City.

    During the relay, teams of 8-15 GLBT people (made up of
lovers, partners, family members and friends) will be camping out overnight,
with each team having a member on the track at all times during the
event.  Teams can represent businesses, clubs, families, friends,
caregivers, and survivors.  The event will also honor GLBT cancer
survivors and their caregivers.

    If you are unable to be a part of a team, you can
volunteer for setup or cleanup during that weekend.
