[Slowhand] John Tsalikes - RIP

One of my long-time trading friends, John Tsalikes of Holiday, Florida, 
passed away on October 10th.  Many of you who collect EC and other artists' 
recordings undoubtedly have at least a few of John's recordings in your 
collection.  Probably the biggest example is the only known recording of 
Derek & the Dominos performing live with Duane Allman, playing "Layla" on 
the "Soulmates" boot from Tampa, Florida in 1970.  John's tradelist read 
like a journal of his life, and he lived for music.

He once told me his biggest taping regret was not bringing enough equipment 
for when he tried to tape Jimi Hendrix in 1970, his first recording ever.  
Now he's up there with Jimi, and getting to hear Duane play once again...

Just thought I'd post about it here for any of the rest of you who may have 
bumped into John on the trading circuit from time to time.  He will be 
missed.
