Hey Claptonians,

EC and the Yardbirds made their first recordings 40 years ago on Sunday,
December 8, 1963 at the Craw Daddy in Richmond. They performed live in both
their own set and backing Sonny Boy Williamson. In their set, they
performed Smokestack Lightning, Let It Rock, Honey in Your Hips, I Wish You
Would, You Can't Judge a Book By It's Cover, and Who Do You Love, all
released later in various compilations--the beginning of a series of
recordings by one of the finest guitarists to ever wield an axe and one of
the greatest bands who distilled the very essence of rocknroll.

Cheers!
