>> I think the tone from Blackie on 'Just One Night' is fantastic. <<

Way too shrill! Makes my skin crawl.

>> Auto-pilot was always Off on "EC WAS HERE." <<

Much of "EC Was Here" -- such as "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" -- was not
Blackie, but a Gibson Explorer. There's a tonal difference of night and day.

>> The problem is that you often express your arguable
aesthetical/artistical judgments (even though clearly unaware of doing it -
see above) as if they were absolute value or facts. <<

I am totally aware of what I write. Your faulty assumption is that I'm
unaware of doing something that I do not do. It's merely your judgment.

I do not believe that I have to ever-so-carefully -- for the
overly-sensitive -- warn the reader with caveats, such as the Surgeon
General's warning on cigarette packs, that I am about to state an opinion. I
also am aware that I state my opinions unambiguously. I think the majority
of readers understand this as well. You may not like this, but I don't
believe that I must prance around opinions so deftly that they lose their
meaning. It's only SOME readers for whom certain things must be carefully
spelled out. They just don't get it.

>> Their tone is irritating, to say the least. <<

Didn't I write something similar about Blackie? Aren't you doing the same
for which I am accused?
