It was a Fender Woodie, a re-issue of Fender's earliest amps, preceding the Tweeds.  They were made in three models: Princeton, Deluxe, and Professional.  The one Eric has is likely a Deluxe.

If I recall correctly, Fender built a limited number of Woodie re-issues about the time they built the copy of the original Fender almost-a-Tele solid body.
