[Slowhand] Offer Closed: 26 June 2004 and Why FLAC ??

Dear Slowhanders,

The offer for 26-Jun-04 .flac vine is now closed. Look for Marvin McGee, Ed Petry and Dan O'Brien to reoffer the original vine .flac discs to the next trader.

Many of you emailed me and wondered why I didn't just offer .cda or audio files instead of the .flac files for the offer I made on 26-Jun-04.

The reasons are:

1. Avoids pops or clicks in the multiple wav to cda to wav to cda conversions.

2. Avoids the 2 sec gaps that inadvertently get in the trading gene pool.

3. Trading the master .flac discs ensures the highest quality source for passing along to the next trader. 

4. Easier for me to burn .flac files than to do an EAC copy for audio trading.

5. Lulu versions become a thing of the past.....haha.
