I don't see how burning cd's at "track at once" can
have such an atrocious affect on the quality of the
music. Thats whats important here. The music. The
fact is that the MUSIC is still intact despite the
fact that there is a bit of time in between the songs.
I know you have every right to be pissed about
getting cd's that way in trades, in which you the
almighty geetarz die-hard Eric Clapton collector with
the mighty collection that you have, people should no
better. A collector with as big of a collection as
you, should care about quality and perfection and what
not, but at the same time if it means that much to you
you should and you shold know what you are getting
into, I'm sure you have a disclaimer about not wanting
track at once discs and what not and maybe some people
are just retards who don't read or pay attention and
trade anyway.

But for a casual EC fan, or a casual classic rock
music fan in general. track at once is not that big
of a deal. The music does not sound bad. I made my
dad a copy of beetleclasher for him to listen to in
her car and he complained that there was too much
talking and applause and nothing happening...so I made
him a copy with just songs from that show, and he
liked that better, that works for him. good for him,
he's not gonna go trading it anywhere. its not
complete, but thats not what the purpose of that show
is for him.

I don't hear the difference between a 192 MP3 and A
SHN or a FLAC file. I respect tapers wishes and will
never ever spread an mp3 copy of something I
downloaded in lossless format, but i can do whatever I
want with my files on my computer...with bittorrent,
it has pretty much eliminated the absolute necessity
of trading for the casual trader...unless theres
something you really want...and oh well your outta
luck or you can hope for a b&p.

I think you have every right to be pissed about what
people are sending you...but I don't underwstand why
it would matter to you what others are doing in their
trades or whatever. How does it affect you? This guy
was offering an Eric Clapton show to 3 other people
for FREE so they could hear the "God" of guitar. I
don't see how that isn't a good thing. Would you
rather the guy just hoarded it and kept it to himself
instead of spreading it for others, or worse sold a
copy on ebay?
