I'd like to sincerely apologize to the group for bringing up the "quality issue" on the Digest. I had no reason to think that passions would run so high about this - or that a good number of people would be so personally offended.
 
I will admit in front of you all - many times in my life I've asked for advice on how to do various things from friends who have more experience in those fields, and in those cases I typically simply do what my experienced friends tell me to do.  But I did not realize that so many people would take a criticism of for instance the software they innocently use and a suggestion to use another, as some sort of personal attack or a slur on their parentage, or dig in their heels to this degree.  I haven't suggested anything other than things learned by personal experience. So I am very, very sorry.
 
I guess in analyzing my response to this the thing that has rubbed me the wrong way just a little, is that every single person, as far as I can tell, who has reacted to me with a "how dare you? This is what came on my computer! We have it at WORK!" - has at least once enjoyed the fruits of my labors.  So I have had a very hard time understanding the reaction when I've gone out of my way to learn this stuff and "do it right" for the group, where it seems the reverse isn't true. C'est la vie.
 
So, I am officially DROPPING it, as long as you will, and y'all are free to ... do whatever.  Personally I'd much rather get back to playing more Air Guitar, as I'm getting rusty.
 
Let's get back to enjoying the MUSIC.  I just got in, today, a copy of the Bradley Center show from July 20.  What a nice hot performance, and a fantastic (as always) "Got to Get Better in a Little While".  I can't get enough of that song.  The guy who sent it to me used Roxio, so I guess now I'm *really* embarassed in front of you all and will put up with a lot of ribbing from all of you!  <g>. Guess we all make a fool of ourselves every now and then.
 
So here's that hot, hot performance of "Got to Get Better" ... break out your Air Guitars and turn the speakers up loud!!!!
